The BSRT offers an international doctoral program with outstanding training and research opportunities related to the immune, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and nervous systems. It is of particular interest to those wishing to look beyond pure research and aim at translating their scientific discoveries into clinical applications.

The Biology Track is for graduate students coming from a background in biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, bioengineering, immunology or veterinary medicine and covers a period of three years. This track is also suitable for graduate students coming from a background in medicine who seek a career purely in science. For medical students who seek a career in medicine please refer to our Clinical Scientists Track. The program is run in English so students from all over the world with a Master's, or an equivalent degree can join.

The Engineering Track is for graduate students coming from a background in physics, chemistry, material sciences or engineering and covers a period of three years. The program is run in English so students from all over the world with a Master's, or an equivalent degree can join.
